• Brazil is investing strongly in the development of "green energy", above all in biomass and hydroelectric energy
• The Brazilian ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan foresees that by 2019, Brazil will reach 2,850 mw for mini hydro and 8,550 for biomass (8,210 MW in 2010)
• Usd 7 billion was invested in renewable energy in 2010 alone
• For 2015, the outlook of investments in renewable energies is for Usd 21 billion
• The Brazilian market is strongly oriented towards the presence of international companies
